On Saturday 25th November the cadets and Officers of Penrith Girls Squadron visited the Penrith Observatory at Western Sydney University for a fascinating talk on the future of space travel and to view the heavens through their telescopes.
The conditions were perfect and the cadets were able to view many sights including the Moon, globular star clusters and a chance to see the planet Pluto!
It was a great evening and we hope to do it again next year!

On Sunday, 22nd October, we will be visiting Camden Airport for a Flying Day at the Air League’s Air Activities Centre. The cadets will have the opportunity to undertake an Air Experience flight, and the Squadron will be sponsoring part of the flight to ensure all cadets get to experience a flight.
