On Tuesday the cadets and parents of Penrith Squadron visited the Fighter World museum located in Williamtown NSW near the RAAF Williamtown base. The cadets learnt about a wide range of RAAF aircraft from the Gloster Meteor Mk8 through to the F-111. They also got to see some of the current F-35A Lightning aircraft operating….
A big day today with our cadets taking part in the ANZAC Day 2022 Sydney Parade! Thank you to all our friends and family for your support. The cadets looked very smart carry banners for the Air Force Association and assisting with carrying the marker numbers for the different bands taking part.
Welcome back to all our cadets for 2021! Our first parade night is on next Thursday 4th February. We’ve put together our first newsletter for 2021 (called the Squadron Routine Order) which tells you all the thing that are happening in the next few months. The annual NSW Group Recreation camp will be held on the 26-28th March and is great fun for the cadets! Details can be found at the link below
This is a reminder to all members and visitors that the Squadron will be attending the Air Ambulance base visit on Thursday, May 23rd, and there will be NO meeting at Melrose Hall that evening.
With the recently announced COVID lockdown in the Greater Sydney area, the NSW Group has announced a lockdown for Squadrons including Penrith Boys. Currently the Squadron is not meeting during the school holidays, however we will keep you up to date via our website, social media and email.
