Fighter World visit
On Tuesday the cadets and parents of Penrith Squadron visited the Fighter World museum located in Williamtown NSW near the RAAF Williamtown base.
The cadets learnt about a wide range of RAAF aircraft from the Gloster Meteor Mk8 through to the F-111. They also got to see some of the current F-35A Lightning aircraft operating.
They also got an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the workshops and saw a replica Sopwith Camel biplane from WW1 under construction.
Such a nice experience. Great collection of aircraft and air force memorabilia.
