Penrith Squadron Presentation 2020

2020 was a year of challenges for all, yet despite all this the Penrith Boys Squadron finished the year on a high last night with annual Presentation Night held at Melrose Hall, Emu Plains.

Despite the need for social distancing and a year of disruptions, the Squadron kept operating with cadets meeting online through video chat for a large part of the year. Now that we are all about to meet face to face again, the Squadron has grown with a number of new cadets joining this year and we hope to continue that into 2021.

The Presentation Night saw cadets Eli Warner and Isaac Wallman promoted to Leading Cadet, Jesse Worley was named Outstanding Squadron Member of the Year and Jamie Worley was Sportsman of the Year.

The cadets also did exceptionally well in education, with many badges being completed. Highest marks were;

  • Drill Proficiency 3 – Nathan Webb with 96%
  • First Aid Awareness – Isaac Wallman with 96%
  • GP4 – Isaac Wallman with 91%
  • GP5 – Jesse Worley with 89%
  • GP6 – Nathan Webb with 89%
  • Nav 3 – Eli Warner with 90%
  • TF3 – Isaac Wallman with 78%

The Squadron will return on the 4th February 2021, if you would like to learn more please contact us over the holidays.
