Best Small Squadron!
Congratulations to the cadets of Penrith Squadron, winners of best small Squadron and third place for best small Flag Party at the recent Keith Smith Wing Parade!
On Tuesday the cadets and parents of Penrith Squadron visited the Fighter World museum located in Williamtown NSW near the RAAF Williamtown base. The cadets learnt about a wide range of RAAF aircraft from the Gloster Meteor Mk8 through to the F-111. They also got to see some of the current F-35A Lightning aircraft operating….
Due to the rain over the past week, a decision was been made to POSTPONE the Keith Smith Wing Parade. This decision has been made with the consolation with Liverpool Council. The parade will be rescheduled to a later date, which will be advised in the future.
Our next parade will be the Keith Smith Wing Parade on the 18th July 2021 starting at Bigge Park, Liverpool at 1315hrs (1.15pm). Details of the parade are available online here, we will also have information for cadets soon.
A big day today with our cadets taking part in the ANZAC Day 2022 Sydney Parade! Thank you to all our friends and family for your support. The cadets looked very smart carry banners for the Air Force Association and assisting with carrying the marker numbers for the different bands taking part.
The annual NSW Group Swimming Carnival will take place on Saturday 12th March 2022 at the Max Parker Aquatic Center – Marco Ave, Revesby. Cadets are asked to arrive by 1730 hours (5:30pm). The Keith Smith Wing Parade will take place on Sunday 27th February 2022 in the City of Liverpool. This will be the first Air League parade since last May and a chance for our cadets to compete in best Small Squadron and best Small Flag Party. We would like to see all our cadets there…
